Nancy has retired from public work with the exception of subbing occasionally as a bus driver or teacher. Since moving to Crocker in February 2001, she served on the Chamber of Commerce for 5 years, ran a 4-H club for 19 months, currently serves on the Board at the Senior Center, and serves in various positions with the Green Thumb Garden Club. Nancy does a tremendous amount of desk top publishing, including serving as editor for the American Dexter Cattle Association for 2 years, and as editor for the American Cream Draft Horse Association since January 2005. She has also produced the programs for several cattle and horse shows, and does the garden club Yearbook each year.

We bought our first Dexters at Christmas 2004 -- proudly starting our herd with a pregnant 10 year old cow and a 5 month old bull calf. In 2007, we had the opportunity to show some of our Dexters, and plan to do so many more times. We are very happy about getting into Dexters, and hope our herd name TOPAZ becomes a respected name among Dexter breeders. We raise horned Dexters and register them with the ADCA. We are also active members of the Missouri Dexter Breeders Association.
